Web design for UK, US, Ireland and EU businesses

Web design combines content, visual layout and interaction to help visitors find what they need. From our Kepez–Antalya base, we work remotely with businesses in the UK, US, Ireland and the EU, across Turkey, and with international companies operating in Turkey. Project discussions take place in Turkish or English.

Web design that makes things easier for visitors

Start with the visitor’s question

When evaluating a website, looking only at how well the colours work together is not enough. Visitors should be able to understand which services you provide, where you operate and how to contact you. KepezWeb starts the design discussion with these questions. A restaurant in Antalya that needs to display its menu and directions has different needs from a consultant who needs to explain their area of expertise. Defining the purpose of each page rather than increasing the number of pages reduces unnecessary repetition when preparing content. The homepage is not a poster that crams in all the information, but a starting point that directs visitors to the right section. From our Kepez–Antalya office, we plan websites remotely for businesses throughout Turkey. UK, US, Ireland and EU projects start with the target visitor, content and contact needs. We also assess enquiries from Germany, Austria and Switzerland, Russia and the CIS, Gulf and Arab countries, and France, Belgium, Switzerland and other Francophone markets. Our Antalya tourism knowledge is useful experience, not a geographical limit.

Real-world use on a phone screen

The mobile view should not be a scaled-down version of the desktop page. Selecting links when the menu is open, tapping a phone number and filling in a form while the keyboard is open are each considered separately. Photo file sizes and cropping, readable text widths and sufficient contrast are addressed together. Decorative animations are simplified if they distract visitors from the main message. Keyboard navigation and visible focus indicators are also part of interface decisions. Discussing ease of use as well as appearance makes feedback on the draft more specific.

Preparing content and design together

Screens approved without real text may break when long headings or different photos are added. We therefore create an inventory of service descriptions, contact details and images with permission for publication. The terms the business uses are explained in language customers can understand. Instead of a vague label, the form button states the purpose of the request being submitted. Who will update the content is discussed from the outset, and the scope of the administration interface is shaped accordingly. Needing a gallery does not mean that a comprehensive booking system is automatically included in the project.

Redesign and launch decisions

When an existing website is being redesigned, we review its old URLs, the email links in use and pages that receive external links. As information is moved, a redirect plan is prepared for URL changes. Domain and server access should remain under the business’s control. Before launch, we evaluate a sample visitor’s journey to finding a service and submitting a request. In discussions conducted from our office in Kepez, we compare design preferences with your business’s priorities. The delivery schedule depends on content preparation and the agreed functionality. We make it clear that an attractive interface alone does not guarantee sales or search rankings. For the quotation assessment, you can include your current website address, usability issues you dislike and the task you expect the website to make easier.

Frequently asked questions

What should I prepare for the design discussion?

Share your current website address, images that can be used and the action you want visitors to take. If your logo or text is not ready yet, these gaps are identified during the scope assessment.

How is the mobile view evaluated?

The menu, contact link and form are considered in terms of real-world phone use. Simply fitting everything on the screen is not enough; touch targets and text readability also matter.

Should I choose a ready-made theme or a custom interface?

Content structure, maintenance expectations and required functionality influence the choice. The approach is clearly established during the project discussion; a custom look is not assumed to be the better choice in every case.

Can I change the text on my website myself?

The scope of administration is agreed for the areas to be edited. Rather than allowing every part of the design to be changed freely, we define the content the business will update.

Does my domain name have to change?

A redesign generally does not require a new domain name. The launch approach is determined by reviewing ownership of the existing address, technical access and the pages to be migrated.

How is the timeline determined in a design quotation?

Functionality, content preparation and approval stages are assessed together. Rather than giving a single delivery date for a project we have not reviewed, we discuss the schedule based on its scope.
